Trey Mancini & Curt Casali Exit Marlins

Trey Mancini has opted out of his contract with the Miami Marlins. He signed a minor league deal with the club back in January. He was unable to make the Marlins major league roster by the end of spring training.
Mancini played up until August last season with the Chicago Cubs. He spent the majority of his MLB career with the Baltimore Orioles from 2016 to 2022. Mancini captured a World Series title with the Houston Astros in 2022.
Casali was told that he would not make the Marlins major league roster. He inked a minor league contract with the team in February.
He spent last season with the Cincinnati Reds and chalked up 11 home runs, 23 runs batted in and a .175 batting average during 40 games. Casali has been in the majors for the past 10 seasons.
