Jimmy Johnson Retires

Former University of Miami Hurricanes football head coach Jimmy Johnson has announced his retirement from broadcasting. He has been a National Football League studio analyst on Fox Sports from 1994 to 1995 and from 2000 to 2025. His last broadcast on that network was Super Bowl LIX in February.
Johnson had cut back on working every week on Fox Sports for the last couple of years. He had to travel from his residence in the Florida Keys to Fox Sports studios in Los Angeles.
He helped the Hurricanes win a national championship in 1987. Johnson led the Dallas Cowboys to back-to-back Super Bowl titles in the early 1990s. He was the head coach of the Miami Dolphins from 1996 to 1999.
