Dolphins Waive Ryan Lewis And Claim Ray Smith

     The Miami Dolphins made several minor moves on Wednesday. They waived defensive back Ryan Lewis and claimed defensive tackle Ray Smith off waivers. 

     Lewis split time between three National Football League clubs in 2019. After starting the season with the Indianapolis Colts and Philadelphia Eagles, he finished up the campaign with the Dolphins. He played eight games and had one interceptions with Miami. Lewis was picked up on waivers by the Washington Football Team on Thursday.

     Smith was on the San Francisco 49ers practice squad last season. He did play college football with the Boston College Eagles.
