George Richards Joins Florida Hockey Now

     Florida Panthers writer George Richards has joined the Florida Panthers Now website as editor-in-chief and reporter. It is part of a network of websites from National Hockey Now. Richards had started Panthers Press Box back on June 8. 

     Richards was recently with The Athletic Miami until June 5 when that organization made job cuts due to the coronavirus pandemic and the stoppage of the National Hockey League season. He began at The Athletic Miami in September 2018. 

     He was the Florida Panthers beat reporter for the Miami Herald from 2005 until September 2017. Richards then joined the Columbus Dispatch as the Columbus Blue Jackets writer from October 2017 to September 2018.
