The Miami Marlins will play National League East opponents 40 times and take on American League East opponents 20 times. The Marlins have the second toughest schedule in 2020 facing opposing teams that combined for a .534 winning percentage from last season.
Miami will begin the season on July 24 at the Philadelphia Phillies as part of a three-game series. The Fish return to South Florida on July 26 for their home opener against the Baltimore Orioles. Both teams will compete in a four game, home-and-home series.
They will host the defending World Series champion Washington Nationals from July 31 to August 2 and then the Philadelphia Phillies from August 4 to August 6. Miami will have a rare three-game home series versus the Boston Red Sox from September 14 to September 16.
The Marlins will complete the 2020 regular season with a seven-game road trip. They face the Atlanta Braves from September 21 until September 24 followed by the New York Yankees from September 25 to September 27.
