560 The Joe WQAM-AM moved from a 1.0 to a 0.7 in the month. The Dan Le Batard Show with Stugotz returned to their South Beach studios on June 8 for the first time since the coronavirus pandemic. Their executive producer Mike Ryan also showed up in the studio while the rest of the Shipping Container consisting of Roy Bellamy, Chris Cote and Ant Calatayud continued to work remotely from their homes.
Sports Talk 790 The Ticket WAXY-AM went from a 0.5 to a 0.4. Alex Donno returned to the radio airwaves near the end of the period for the first time since March. He started to fill-in as an afternoon co-host with Marc Hochman for three days a week while Channing Crowder was on paternity leave from the station.
Miami Sports 940 WINZ-AM jumped after four consecutive months at a 0.2 to a 0.3. They continued as the only local sports station with live play-by-play broadcasts during the ratings period with NASCAR races from the Motor Racing Network. Jeff DeForrest helped with his unique way of hosting the morning shift.
Fox Sports 640 South Florida WMEN-AM held at a 0.0 for a second straight period. It is a surprise considering that their mid-afternoon program with Andy Slater centers on breaking news in the Miami-Dade and Broward County areas. There is a possibility that radio ratings services have cracked down and not listed radio stations that do not have their transmitter based in the local market.
