Matt Joyce And Lewis Brinson On Injured List

     The Miami Marlins placed outfielder Matt Joyce and outfielder Lewis Brinson on the 10-day injured list. Both players have not showed up at summer training at Marlins Park. 

     Joyce joined the Marlins as a free agent during the offseason. He was with the Braves in 2019 and compiled seven home runs, 23 runs batted in and a .295 batting average. 

     Brinson has been with the Fish for the past two seasons after being acquired in the Christian Yelich trade from the Milwaukee Brewers. He played in 75 games and had a .173 batting average along with 15 runs batted in last season.
