Florida Panthers Name Playoff Roster

     The Florida Panthers submitted 30 players who will be on their playoff roster. Florida will take on the New York Islanders in a best-of-five Stanley Cup Qualifier Series beginning on August 1 in Toronto.  

     The Panthers bring 16 forwards with Aleksander Barkov, Johnathan Huberdeau, Evgenii Dadonov, Mike Hoffman, Frank Vatrano, Noel Acciari, Brett Connolly, Colton Sceviour, Brian Boyle, Erik Haula, Lucas Wallmark, Dominic Toninato, Dryden Hunt, Owen Tippett, Aleksi Saarela and Eetu Luostarinen.

     They will go with ten defensemen which are Aaron Ekblad, Keith Yandle, Mike Matheson, Anton Stralman, Mark Pysyk, MacKenzie Weegar, Josh Brown, Riley Stillman, Brady Keeper and Chase Priskie. The team will carry four goalies with Sergei Bobrovsky, Chris Driedger, Samuel Montembeault and Philippe Desrosiers.

     The club have four players that faced the Islanders back in the first round of the 2016 Stanley Cup Playoffs. They include Ekblad, Barkov, Huberdeau and Matheson.
