The Miami Marlins have signed their 2020 second round supplemental pick Kyle Nicolas to a contract. The deal for the 61st overall selection is for around $1.19 million. He along with the Marlins first round pick Max Meyer are the only player who have signed with the club from the 2020 MLB Draft.
Nicolas pitched college baseball with Ball State University. He went 23 innings last season and struck out 14 1/2 strikeouts every nine innings and had a 2.74 earned-run-average.
