640 Fox Sports South Florida WMEN-AM has eliminated their local morning show hosted by Joe Raineri and Steve Zemach. They have hosted the program since January 2016 and their final show was last week. Alpha Media became the new owner of the radio station in February and plans to use the entire national lineup of Fox Sports Radio.
Raineri began at WMEN as an afternoon host in November 2014 and was shifted to the midday slot in May 2015. He returned to the afternoon shift in August 2015 and held in for four more months until he joined Zemach for morning drive. Raineri, who also hosted a Sunday late morning NFL show last year, previously worked three years as a morning co-host at WRMF-FM in West Palm Beach prior to joining 640 Sports.
Zemach joined WMEN in the middle of 2013 as an associate morning producer of the Sid Rosenberg Show. He was later elevated to morning producer of that program. Zemach was promoted to morning co-host at 640 Sports in January 2016. He previously was employed at Sports Radio 560 WQAM-AM as an associate producer for the afternoon show with Rosenberg and Miami Marlins reporter.
