Stars Squeeze By Panthers

     The Florida Panthers returned to Sunrise following a short one-game trip to Philadelphia and fell to the Dallas Stars 2-1 on Saturday night at BB&T Center. The Panthers have lost five of their last six games.
     Dallas(26-29-10) got out to a 1-0 lead at 11:01 of the first period. Jason Spezza make a cross-ice pass from the left wing to Tyler Seguin in the low right circle. He found Jamie Benn all alone in the blue paint and he converted his 24th goal of the season.
     Florida(29-24-11) tied the contest up on their third power-play opportunity with 3:40 left in the first. Jonathan Marchessault made a backhand cross-ice pass from the left circle to Jonathan Huberdeau. He scored on a wrist shot from the right circle past Keri Lehtonen.
     The Stars put in the go-ahead goal with just 1:07 remaining in the third period. Benn moved the puck ahead to Seguin on the left wing. He centered it and John Klingberg fired a slapshot from above the right circle by James Reimer.
