The Miami Heat held on to defeat the Minnesota Timberwolves 123-105 on Friday night at American Airlines Arena. The Heat have been victorious in six of the last seven and 23 of their last 28 games.
Miami(34-35) jumped out to a 27-23 lead after one quarter and extended their margin to 64-49 at halftime. Minnesota(28-40) cut into the deficit and were behind 90-81 after three quarters. The Heat outscored the Timberwolves 33-24 in the final quarter. Tyler Johnson led Miami with 25 points.
