Dolphins Walk By Saints

     The Miami Dolphins easily topped the New Orleans Saints 20-3 at the Caesars Superdome on Monday night. The Dolphins have their longest winning streak since 1985 and are now hold the AFC third wild-card spot. 
     The Fins have won seven consecutive victories. They reached a winning record for the first time since the first game of the 2021 regular season. 
     Miami(8-7) got on the scoreboard at the 10:33 mark of the first quarter. Defensive back Nik Needham intercepted a pass and returned it 28 yards for the touchdown. Jason Sanders added a 48-yard field goal with 2:16 left in the first for a 10-0 lead. 
     New Orleans(7-8) picked up their only points of the contest with 2:49 to go in the second quarter and made it 10-3. Brett Maher was able to boot a 38-yard field goal. 
     In the third quarter, the Dolphins put it back to a seven-point margin at 5:15. Quarterback Tua Tagovailoa found wide receiver Jaylen Waddle on a one-yard pass in the middle of the zone. Sanders increased it to 20-3 on a 34-yard field goal at the 12:04 mark of the fourth quarter.
