Phillip Dorsett Signs Extension

     Wide receiver Phillip Dorsett has signed an extension with the Houston Texans. It is a one-year deal through the 2022 season worth $1.035 million. 
     Dorsett played high school football with the St. Thomas Aquinas Raiders and captured three FHSAA state titles in 2007, 2008 and 2010. He spent four seasons with the University of Miami Hurricanes. 
     He was drafted by the Indianapolis Colts as the 29th overall selection in 2015 and was there for two seasons. He was traded to the New England Patriots for former Dwyer quarterback Jacoby Brissett. Dorsett won one Super Bowl title and two AFC championship while in New England. 
     Dorsett was on the Seattle Seahawks in 2020 and did not participate in a contest. He has split his time with the Seahawks, Jacksonville Jaguars and Houston Texans during the 2021 season.
