Mario Cristobal New Miami Hurricanes Head Coach

     The University of Miami Hurricanes athletic department introduced Mario Cristobal as their new head football coach. He takes over for Manny Diaz, who held that position for three years and had a 21-15 record.  
     Cristbal was the head coach of crosstown Florida International University from 2007 until 2012. He spent the last four seasons as the University of Oregon head coach and finished with a 35-13 record. 
     He did play high school football with the Columbus Explorers. Cristobal was with the University of Miami from 1988 to 1992. He was able to capture two national championships with the Canes.
