Miami Ratings November 2021

The ratings were released for Miami/Fort Lauderdale sports talk format radio stations. The time span went from the second week of October until the second week of November.
560 WQAM-AM rose from a 1.0 to a 1.2 in the period. It was their best ratings since December 2019 and they have tripled their audience share since February. The station changed their branding on October 26 from 560 The Joe to AM 560 Sports WQAM. Jonathan Zaslow and his midday program was moved from sister-station Sports Talk 790 The Ticket to WQAM that same day. The Florida Panthers rocketed out to an incredible start to begin their regular season. The Miami Dolphins and the University of Miami Hurricanes continued to be mediocre.
Sports Talk 790 The Ticket WAXY-AM dropped from a 0.8 to a 0.5 in the month. It was the biggest dip by that station since September 2019 when Dan Le Batard with Stugotz was shifted to WQAM. The Ticket lost Jonathan Zaslow to WQAM and he was replaced by BetQL programming in late mornings and Jim Rome from CBS Sports Radio Network in the midday shift. Marc Hochman and Channing Crowder lost one hour of their four-hour simulcast on that station that they were on since August 2019. Miami Heat started the regular season off well.
Fox Sports 940 Miami WINZ-AM stayed at a 0.2 for the third straight month. It was the first complete month that they went with no local shows and used all Fox Sports Radio weekday and weekend programming. The University of Florida Gators football program had a tough time in the Southeastern Conference as they lost conference games three straight weeks.
