Claude Giroux Leaves For Senators

Free agent center Claude Giroux has left the Florida Panthers and joined the Ottawa Senators. It is a three-year deal worth $19 million.
Giroux spent his entire National Hockey League career with the Philadelphia Flyers. He was traded to the Panthers on March 19. He contributed three goals in 17 assists for 20 points in 23 games with Florida.
He helped the Panthers capture their first Presidents' Trophy in franchise history with the best regular season record. Giroux also contributed to them winning their first playoff series since 1996.
