Eric Reid, an Ithaca College grad, will work his 34th season on television calling the Miami Heat telecasts. He has been with the organization since their inception in 1988-89. He started the first three seasons of the franchise as a game analyst, simulcasted on radio and television, working with Sam Smith. Reid was elevated to the television voice of the team in 1991-92.
John Crotty is back as the television game analyst. He has been a Heat broadcaster either on radio or television since the 2004-05 season.
Jason Jackson, who was named the new Miami Heat English language radio play-by-play announcer in September, will pull off double duty. He will be the studio host for the television pregame and halftime shows when the Miami Heat play home games at FTX Arena in Miami.
Will Manso and Kristen Hewitt will have bigger roles as sideline reporters and take over for Jackson. Bally Sports Florida will use Manso and Hewitt as studio hosts for road contests as they have in recent seasons.
Ron Rothstein will work again as a studio analyst for Miami Heat home games. Heat radio game analyst Ruth Riley Hunter will be in the studio as an analyst for road games.
