Several former Miami Heat players were named on the National Basketball Association 75th Anniversary Team. The list consists of the 75 best NBA players in league history.
Dwyane Wade, LeBron James, Shaquille O'Neal, Ray Allen and Gary Payton was selected to the team. Wade led the Miami Heat to their three NBA championships in 2006, 2012 and 2013. James was part of the Big Three in the early 2010s and captured two NBA titles.
O'Neal was with the Heat in the mid-2000s and helped the franchise win their first NBA title in 2006. Allen joined the Heat in 2012-13 and won a NBA championship.
Payton was part of the 2006 championship squad. Former Miami Heat minority owner Billy Cunningham along with current scout Bob McAdoo were also on that list.
