The Miami Heat knocked off the Orlando Magic 107-90 at FTX Arena on Monday night. The Heat, who came off a one-game road trip to Indiana, have four games over their next six days.
Miami(2-1) went on a 17-2 spurt during the opening frame to go up 21-9 and had a 27-15 advantage after one quarter. The Heat stayed in front 57-44 by halftime. Orlando(1-3) started off the second half on an 18-11 run and trailed 81-70 at the end of three quarters.
Jimmy Butler led the Heat with a game-high 36 points. Bam Adebayo added a double-double of 16 points and 13 rebounds. Markieff Morris came off the bench with 16 points and Tyler Herro dropped in 13 points. Franz Wagner and Jalen Suggs both had a team-high 15 points each for the Magic.
