WQAM And The Ticket Schedule Changes

     The two Audacy sports talk format radio stations in Miami, 560 WQAM-AM and Sports Talk 790 The Ticket WAXY-AM, have changed their weekday scheduling lineups on Tuesday. One of their stations also changed their branding name. 

     WQAM has changed their brand and slogan from 560 The Joe to AM 560 Sports WQAM. The brand name had been used there since August 2019. 

     They also tweaked their weekday schedule as Jonathan Zaslow moves over his midday show from The Ticket to WQAM. He replaces the CBS Sports Radio Network block with Bill Reiter and Jim Rome, who have been on that station since the start of September. 

     The Joe Rose Show with Zach Krantz in mornings along with Marc Hochman and Channing Crowder in afternoons remain in place at WQAM. Miami Dolphins, University of Miami Hurricanes and Florida Panthers radio game broadcasts will continue there. The station will still carry CBS Sports Radio in late nights, overnights and weekends. 

     790 The Ticket will also implement a new weekday lineup. Brendan Tobin and Leroy Hoard will continue to co-host the morning show. BetQL Daily will be added in late morning while Jim Rome will air from noon to 3PM. Marc Hochman and Channing Crowder loses one hour of their afternoon show that they had since August 2019. 

     The Ticket continues to be the flagship station of Miami Heat radio broadcasts. BetQL Network will air weekdays from 6PM to 11PM. CBS Sports Radio Network will still be piped in during late nights, overnights and weekends.
