The Miami Heat pounded the Memphis Grizzlies 129-103 at FedEx Forum on Saturday night. The Heat had a double-digit lead for more than three quarters of the games.
Miami(5-1) scored the first eight points of the contest and had a 38-22 advantage after one quarter. Memphis(3-3) slightly cut it down to 67-54 by halftime. The Heat extended the lead to 102-79 at the end of three quarter and cruised by in the final frame.
Jimmy Butler put together a team-high 27 points and seven assists for Miami. Tyler Herro was able to contribute 22 points. Kyle Lowry and Duncan Robinson both scored 15 points each. Ja Morant and De'Anthony Melton both shared the team-high with 20 points for the Grizzlies.
