Marlins Baseball Operations Changes

The Miami Marlins continue to reorganize their baseball operations department. Many changes have been made by the organization over the past 12 months.
Former general manager Kim Ng, who was hired in November 2020, decided not to exercise her option to remain with team after the 2023 season when the Marlins were going to name a supervisor above her. Miami did hire Peter Bendix as their president of baseball operations last November.
Assistant general managers Oz Ocampo and Dan Greenlee were both notified that their contracts will not be renewed for the 2025 campaign. Ocampo was hired by Ng in November 2022. Greenlee joined the club in 2017 and was promoted to assistant general manager in October 2020. International scouting director Roman Ocumarez is not expected to be retained for next season.
