Heat Fall In China

    The Miami Heat played their second game this week in China on Sunday and lost to the Los Angeles Clippers 99-89 at Shanghai. Both teams flew back to the United States following the game.
    Miami fell behind early as they were outscored 32-22 after one quarter and were down 14 points 57-43 by halftime. Rodney Carney was Miami's leading scorer with 15 points.
    LeBron James led the Heat with 11 points and four assists in 20 minutes while Chris Bosh also had 11 points and five rebounds in 21 minutes. Dwyane Wade was limited to eight minutes and sank seven points.
    Chris Paul made his first preseason appearance for the Clippers as he had four points and six assists in 21 minutes of play. Paul recovered from right thumb surgery two months ago after being part of the United States goal medal team at the London Olympics. Blake Griffin contributed 13 points and 10 rebounds in 22 minutes.
    DeAndre Jordan was the leading scorer for Los Angeles with 18 points and nine rebounds in 24 minutes while former Heat player Caron Butler poured in 11 points and 16 minutes.
