The two Muck Bowl rivals will play in separate games on Friday in Fort Lauderdale. Pahokee faces the Calvary Christian Eagles in a District 7-3A match up at 4 p.m. while Glades Central travels to Dillard and challenge the Panthers at 7 p.m.
The Pahokee Blue Devils have been disappointing with a 1-4 record following a 37-18 loss at Seminole Ridge last week. CCE(3-3) fell to King's Academy 29-10 on the road in a district game last Friday. Both teams are 0-2 in District 7-3A and are on the brink of missing the FHSAA playoffs.
Glades Central made a previous appearance in Broward County during the second week of the season and were walloped 34-13 by Plantation at PAL Field. They will face Dillard on Friday night just four miles east of their prior debacle against the Colonels. After dropping their first four games of the season, the Raiders bounced back as they shut out Suncoast 47-0 last week.
Dillard enters the game on a three-game winning streak and pounded Pompano Beach 70-0 last week. The Panthers currently have a record of 4-2.
