LeBron James did not play for the Heat on Saturday, but Miami got by the San Antonio Spurs 104-101 at American Airlines Arena. The Heat overcame a 14-point deficit in the second half and outscored the Spurs 27-16 in the fourth quarter for the comeback victory.
Rashard Lewis came off the bench to lead Miami with 15 points and four steals in 20 minutes of play. Dwyane Wade added 13 points and five assists in 26 minutes while Norris Cole sank 10 points. Reserve Mike Miller contributed 12 points, five rebounds and four assists in 19 minutes.
Four-time NBA champion Tim Duncan almost had a point-per-minute for the Spurs as he had 15 points in 16 minutes and took down six rebounds. Danny Green stepped up in 29 minutes with a San Antonio high 17 points. All-Star player Manu Ginobili played 19 minutes with three points and Tony Parker was held scoreless in nine minutes.
