Former Boyd Anderson defensive back Daniel Gray has transferred from the University of Tennessee to Utah State University. Gray played in 2012 for the Volunteers as a true freshman where he played in eight games. He would be ineligible to play for Utah State in 2013 and have three years left of eligibility remaining as of the 2014 season.
Gray played his high school football career with the Boyd Anderson Cobras. He joins former high school teammates Bruce Natson and Travis Reynolds who are both wide receivers with the Utah State Aggies. During Gray's senior season in 2011, Boyd Anderson forfeited the District 14-7A title during the final week of the regular season for using three ineligible players in the first seven games.
