University of Auburn Tigers running back Tre Mason appears on several college football magazine covers for the the upcoming 2013 season. South Florida Sport broke the story back on May 14 that Mason would be on the state of Alabama cover of Phil Steele's College Football Preview in mid-June. He also shows up on one of Athlon's and Lindy's SEC regional covers by himself. Jeff Driskel of Florida and A.J. McCarron of Alabama appear alone on separate Athlon's and Lindy's SEC covers.
Mason played for the Park Vista Cobras as a running back from 2007 until 2010. He was mainly a kickoff returner during his freshman year with Auburn. He picked up more time as a running back during his sophomore year in 2012.
