Heat Force Game 7

The Miami Heat were within six seconds of elimination in Game 6 of the NBA Finals as they came back and beat the San Antonio Spurs 103-100 in overtime on Tuesday night at American Airlines Arena. The Heat are now 7-0 following a loss in the postseason. The series is tied at three games apiece and the NBA championship will be decided in Game 7 on Thursday night in Miami.
The Heat have never played an NBA Finals Game 7 while the Spurs defeated the Detroit Pistons in seven games back in 2005. No home team has lost a Game 7 since the Seattle Supersonics lost to the Washington Bullets in 1978.

Mario Chalmers had 20 points in 43 minutes while Dwyane Wade added 14 points in 34 minutes. Chris Bosh compiled a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds in 39 minutes. Ray Allen and Shane Battier both added nine points each as they came off the bench.
Tim Duncan completed a double-double for the Spurs with a team-high 30 points and 17 rebounds in 40 minutes. Kawhi Leonard also gathered a double-double of 22 points and 11 rebounds in 46 minutes. Tony Parker knocked down 19 points with eight assists in 43 minutes.
