David Selig will begin as the new sports editor of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel on Monday. He recently left his deputy sports editor position at the Baltimore Sun and replaces Gregory H. Lee Jr. who moved on to NBA.com several months ago to become the director of editorial content.
Selig, a University of Maryland grad, had previous roles with the Baltimore Sun as the Baltimore Orioles beat writer, high school sports editor and an internship with the newspaper. He once worked at the Winchester Star in Virginia as a sports editor prior to that.
