It was a rare month in which there was just about no movement in the ratings for sports format radio stations in the Miami/Fort Lauderdale market. 104.3 The Ticket WAXY-FM was on top of their two competitors for the 19th consecutive month while Sports Radio 560 WQAM-AM and Miami Sports 940 WINZ-AM did not gain any ground.
104.3 The Ticket slightly went up from a 1.6 to a 1.7 in the month of March. It was a minor rise as the Miami Heat was winding down their regular season trying to get a playoff spot.
WQAM stayed the same for the second straight month with a 0.9 as the Florida Panthers chased for a postseason berth and University of Miami basketball did not make the NCAA tournament. Without the push of the Miami Dolphins in the off-season, WINZ remained at 0.2 in the month of March.
