Philadelphia(5-10) tied the game 1-1 on a lead-off homer by Cody Asche against Jarred Cosart. He hit his second home run of the season to right field on a 3-2 count. It was be the only blemish for Cosart who went six innings and gave up one run on four hits.

After Ichiro Suzuki got an infield hit against Ken Giles, he moved to second on a single to center field by Hechavarria.
