Jamomir Jagr Stays With Panthers

     The Florida Panthers re-signed Jaromir Jagr to a new one-year contract on Sunday. He was acquired by the Panthers from the New Jersey Devils on February 26. Jagr had six goals and 12 assists in 20 games with the Panthers in the final stretch of the regular season. He played on the same forward line with Aleksander Barkov and Jonathan Huberdeau.
     Jagr is currently leads active NHL players in several categories. He has 722 goals, 1,080 assists, 1,802 points, 204 power-play goals and 1,550 games played. Jagr won two Stanley Cup championships with the Pittsburgh Penguins in 1990-91 and 1991-92. He has also played for the Washington Capitals, New York Rangers, Philadelphia Flyers, Dallas Stars and Boston Bruins. Following the completion of the 2014-15 regular season, Jagr stands on the NHL all-time list fifth in goals, sixth in assists, fourth in points, 11th in games played, first in game-winning goals and tied for fourth in power-play goals.
