Florida Panthers Named To All-Star Team

     The Florida Panthers had several players named to the Atlantic Division All-Star Team for the NHL All-Star Game to be held in Nashville later this month. Right wing Jaromir Jagr was named the team captain of the team by fan balloting. He will be joined by teammates goalie Roberto Luongo and defenseman Aaron Ekblad.
    Only the Panthers and Washington Capitals had three played named to the All-Star Game. Florida head coach Gerard Gallant was appointed the head coach of the Atlantic Division team. Each division team is made up of six forwards, three defensemen and two goalies for the new three-on-three format between four divisional clubs to be implemented.
