The South Florida Sun-Sentinel has named Scott Salomon as their new Fort Lauderdale Strikers beat writer. He replaces Dave Brousseau who left the newspaper in late November 2015. Brousseau had covered the team for the last couple of seasons.
Salomon, a University of Miami and St. Thomas University grad, has been a high school sports reporter at the Sun-Sentinel for a decade. He has also been a contributing writer for several websites that cover University of Miami athletics.
