The Fort Lauderdale Strikers fell to FC Shakhtar 1-0 in an international friendly game on Tuesday night at Lockhart Stadium. The scoreless tie was broken during the 80th minute by the team from Ukraine.
The Strikers had played to a 0-0 tie with Corinthians of Brazil on Saturday. Fort Lauderdale will open their spring season on April 2 when they host NASL expansion franchise Miami FC.
