The Fort Lauderdale Strikers tied Corinthians 0-0 in an international friendly match at Lockhart Stadium on Saturday. The Strikers will host Shakhtar in a international friendly game on Tuesday night.
The match had a connection between both clubs due the ownership of the Strikers franchise by South Americans which includes retired Brazil soccer player Ronaldo. Coronthians are the defending champions in the Compeonato Brasileiro Serie A domestic league. They have captured that title six times and were the FIFA Club World Cup champions in 2012,
