Dombrowski was the general manager of the Florida Marlins from 1992 until 2001. He guided the club to their first World Series title in 1997.
He has make several stops as a general manager during his career. Dombrowski started with the Montreal Expos prior to arriving in South Florida. He landed with the Detroit Tigers from 2002 to 2015 and helped that franchise win the American League title in 2006 and 2012. The last stop for Dombrowski was with the Boston Red Sox and they won the 2018 World Series, before he was released in September 2019.
