The South Florida Tri-County High School Football championship games have been set. All title games will be held at Traz Powell Stadium in Miami.
12 teams remain in the six brackets. Dade County has three teams, Broward County has six teams and Palm Beach County has three teams.
The Class 8A gold bracket will have #1 Columbus and #3 Deerfield Beach next Saturday night. It is a rematch of the 2019 FHSAA Class 8A state semifinal contest between both of them.
The Class 8A silver bracket has #1 Palm Beach Gardens and #2 Boca Raton next Saturday afternoon. It is the only contest that will involve Palm Beach County schools against each other.
The gold bracket in Class 7A matches #1 Atlantic and #2 Plantation on Friday night. They met only once in a Class 8A regional quarterfinal in 2017.
Class 7A in the silver bracket will see #5 Fort Lauderdale and #3 South Broward next Saturday morning. It is the only game with two Broward County teams and that it will not have one of the top two seeds participating.
The gold bracket for small schools in Class 6A to Class 1A consists of #2 Dillard and #4 North Miami Beach on Thursday night. The silver bracket has #2 Coconut Creek and #4 Miami Norland on Friday afternoon.
