Greyhound Racing Ending In Florida

     Greyhound racing will no longer be held in the state of Florida as of 2021. An election was held back in November 2018 and voted upon to eliminate dog racing altogether. 

     Palm Beach Kennel Club in West Palm Beach will have their final day ever of greyhound racing after 88 years on December 31. The last race will occur at 11:59PM on New Year's Eve. Palm Beach Kennel Club has held dog races since 1932 and owned by the Rooney family since 1970.
