Andre Iguodala Gone From Miami Heat

The Miami Heat have decided not to exercise the team option on the contract for Andre Iguodala. He was expected to make $15 million and now will become a free agent. Iguodala had participated in six consecutive NBA Finals until this past year.
Iguodala was acquired by the Heat back in February 2020 in a trade with the Memphis Grizzlies. He helped the Heat win the 2020 Eastern Conference title before they fell to the Los Angeles Lakers in the 2020 NBA Finals. Iguodala averaged 4.4 points and 3.5 rebounds per contest in 63 games last season with Miami.
