Braves Blitzed By Marlins

The Miami Marlins survived the Atlanta Braves 9-6 at loanDepot park. The Marlins began a six-game homestand. The Braves clinched the National League East Division on Wednesday for the sixth straight time.
Miami(76-72) rocketed out to a 3-0 lead in the bottom of the first. Luis Arraez cracked a solo home run to right field on a 1-2 pitch for his eighth homer this year. Bryan De La Cruz later knocked in Jake Burger on a base hit through the middle. Jesus Sanchez followed with a triple to into the right-center field gap and De La Cruz crossed the plate.
It became 4-0 for the Fish in the second inning. Burger singled into left field for Jacob Stallings to score.
Atlanta(96-51) made it 4-1 in the top of the third. Michael Harris II smashed a solo homer to left field for his 17th home run of the season. A little bit later in the frame, Austin Riley drove in Ronald Acuna Jr. on a base hit through the right side.
The Braves closed it to 4-3 in the fourth inning. Acuna hit a sacrifice fly into the right-field corner and Orlando Arcia reached home. In the fifth inning, they tied it up 4-4. Riley was able to score on sacrifice fly by Eddie Rosario.
Atlanta moved ahead 6-4 with two runs in the top of the sixth. Miami leaped by with five runs in the bottom of the seventh for a 9-6 advantage.
