The Miami Heat finished off the first-round series with a 99-87 victory over the Indiana Pacers on Monday night at the Field House in Lake Buena Vista. It was the sixth series sweep for Miami in their franchise history winning 4-0 in the best-of-five series. The Heat will move on to the Eastern Conference Semifinals and face the winner of the Milwaukee Bucks and Orlando Magic series.
Indiana was ahead 22-21 after one quarter, however Miami came back to lead 48-42 by halftime. The Heat remained in front 70-62 after three quarters. The Pacers were able to cut the deficit down to five points 91-85 with 3:36 left in the fourth.
Bam Adebayo put together a double-double of 14 points and 19 rebounds for Miami. Goran Dragic added 23 points while Tyler Herro had 16 points. Myles Turner compiled a double-double with 22 points along with 14 rebounds and Victor Oladipo dropped in 25 points for Indiana.
