The Miami Heat extended their winning streak to four games as they handled the Sacramento Kings 122-103 on Friday night at American Airlines Arena. The Heat scored the most points in the game this season.
Miami(20-6) was down 36-33 after one quarter, however they took over in the second and led 67-61 at halftime. Sacramento(7-18) pulled to within one point 72-71 with 8:45 to go in the third quarter, but the Heat finished the period on a 26-11 run to get up 98-82 as they entered the final quarter. Miami extended their margin up to 20 points throughout most of the fourth quarter.
Chris Bosh had a team-high 25 points and eight rebounds in 25 minutes for the Heat. LeBron James added 18 points, eight assists and six rebounds in the victory. Dwyane Wade put together 20 points, five assists and five rebounds while Mario Chalmers compiled 16 points, five assists and four steals.
All five Kings scored in double digits. Recent acquisition Rudy Gay had 14 points, six assists and six rebounds while Isaiah Thomas and Jason Thompson both had 11 points. DeMarcus Cousins had a team-high 27 points along with eight rebounds and Ben McLemore contributed 20 points.
