The Miami Heat topped the Sacramento Kings 108-96 in overtime at American Airlines Arena on Tuesday night. The Heat won their first home game this season following two losses in Miami earlier this week.
Both teams were tied 91-91 at the end of the fourth quarter and the contest had to go into overtime. Miami(2-2) scored the first 12 points of the extra frame to put the game away.
Goran Dragic compiled 25 points, eight assists and eight rebounds for the Heat. Tyler Johnson added 22 points and Hassan Whitside put together 14 points along with 11 rebounds. Rudy Gay and DeMarcus Cousins had 30 points each for Sacramento(2-3) in the loss.
