Former South Florida sports host Sid Rosenberg will rejoin the Imus In The Morning Show as a sports anchor on WABC-AM in New York City beginning Monday. He held that post on the same program while he was at WFAN-AM from 2000 until September 2005. He replaces Warner Wolf who has held the sports anchor position on the show since Don Imus joined WABC in 2007.
Rosenberg was the morning host on 640 Sports WMEN-AM from August 2012 to December 2015. He has been the late morning show co-host with Bernard McGuirk on WABC since January.
He had two prior different stints in the South Florida region. He was a co-host in Fort Lauderdale on a sports show at CBS Sportsline with Scott Kaplan in 1999 and 2000. They both moved their program up to WNEW-FM in New York City where they continued it for one year.
Rosenberg returned to Miami in late 2005 as a fill-in host at 790 The Ticket WAXY-AM and eventually co-hosted a midday show with former Miami Dolphins wide receiver O.J. McDuffie. He was later promoted to the morning host role at that station which he held until May 2009.
He began with Sports Radio 560 WQAM-AM as a midday host in August 2009. Rosenberg was promoted to afternoon drive host spot in June 2010 and stayed there until April 2012.
