Tucker won an NBA title with the Milwaukee Bucks in 2020-21 and brought that organization its first championship in 50 years. He signed as a free agent with the Heat in August 2021. Tucker contributed to Miami having the best record in the Eastern Conference last season. He averaged 7.6 points per game and 5.5 rebounds per game in 2021-22.
