WQBA And WAQI Sold

TUDN Radio 1140 WQBA-AM and Radio Mambi 710 WAQI-AM has been sold by TelevisaUnivision to Latino Media Network. The deal also involves 16 other radio stations in the United States and is worth $60 million.
WQBA flipped from a Spanish language news talk format to a Spanish language sports talk format in April 2017. It initially carried Univision Deportes Radio and was later branded TUDN Radio.
The radio station was the Spanish language flagship station of the Miami Heat, during their three NBA Championship seasons, from the 2004-05 to the late 2010s with play-by-play announcer Jose Paneda. He has held the post with the team since the 1989-90 season.
WQBA has been the Spanish language flagship station of the Miami Dolphins since 2010, with the exception being the 2016 season. They did have the Spanish language radio rights to Miami FC in the 2017 season with Arley Londono as play-by-play announcer.
