American Heritage At Avon Park Preview

The American Heritage Stallions visit the Avon Park Red Devils at Joe Franza Stadium in a Class 4A regional quarterfinal on Friday night. It is a rarity to find two schools with losing regular season records face each other in a FHSAA postseason contest.
American Heritage(2-3) have attempted to bounce back following the passing of their head coach Brian Sheridan earlier this season  All of the Stallions opponents during the regular season made the FHSAA Playoffs. They had wins over Benjamin and Cardinal Newman while they had losses to Biship Verot, Champagnat Catholic and Clewiston. Quarterback Dylan Rizk will call the signals for the Stallions and running back Trey Rainey can carry the ball. Wide receivers Brandyn Butler, Brandon Schabert, Mathew Hall and Matthew Smicklas can make pass receptions from Rizk.
Avon Park(3-4) began the season winning two of their first three games. The Red Devils then lost three straight games before winning their regular season finale. They have players that are lineman on offense and defense with Clay Vanderpool, Tariq Williams and Zach Love. Look for quarterback Ja'marion Davis and running back Dylan Page to advance the ball.
