Former local high school football player Alex Collins has signed with the Seattle Seahawks. He will be placed on their practice squad. It will be his second stint with that club.
Collins played high school football with the South Plantation Paladins from 2009 until 2012. He went on to attend the University of Arkansas and stayed with the Razorbacks for three seasons.
He was selected by the Seahawks during the fifth round of the 2016 NFL Draft. Collins spent one season there followed by two seasons with the Baltimore Ravens.
